There are no words to describe the anger and pain that overwhelms the hearts’ of Colombians caused by the cruel murder of 11 young soldiers in Arauquita committed by Farc. The assassinations violate International Humanitarian Law and War Law mandates because delinquents murdered with coup de grace soldiers that had already been ambushed and weakened while watching over energetic infrastructure. Farc and their followers have unleashed a war rumor that intends to ‘create political pressure conditions’ on the government so that it opens negotiation doors with this illegal armed group. Objective conditions don’t exist yet. Farc hasn’t relinquish terrorism as a form of struggle, they haven`t stop recruiting minors or halting extortive kidnapping. Placing explosives near schools or roads that peasants, women and children transit, communities that the guerrilla affirm they represent, are a cowardly expression that shows their weakness. Only their defenders would intend to explain such terrorist actions as a violent escalation that must have a political outcome. (more…)

The Cuban Government considers that the next possession of a nationalist leader will be Ollanta Humala as president of Peru as an example of the continuous example of the “advance of the progress forces” in the region, said the vice-president of the island, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura. “Continues the advance of the progress forces, example will be the possession on July 28th of Ollanta Humala(…) who has a nationalist program of more equality on the distribution of poverty”. The ideal would be a society in which every man fulfills with his duties, respects the others rights, participates in an active way in the structure of the social contract and guides and applies the action from the government. In a society of this kind it would be innocuous that some citizens require the carry of legitimate acquired arms. (more…)

As part of the bicentenary celebrations, today 200+1, Colombia doesn´t want to understand the dimension of a conflict that it’s just kept here; we also have presidents and politicians that decide to not closing the doors to the narcoguerrillas, as if they didn’t understand that precisely these political distinctions have been causing the criminal aggression that the Farc and the ELN have developed on the last 47 years.
